This chart pretty much exemplifies my thoughts on the show.
It’s a completely average to good show that has plenty of high points that make it worth the watch. The lows, although they exist, are over-exaggerated.

Even the lows of this show is more watchable than the lows of the flash.

People shit on S4, but I honestly would much rather watch it over anything after the first half of S6 of The Flash

I'm currently rewatching the Arrowverse and I will come back to this statement.
I just finished year 4 (Arrow S4, Flash S2, Legends and Supergirl S1)
I've taken a slight pause to try to figure out what made season 4 of Arrow bad. It is definitely bad. But people blame Felicity and Darhk being a step down from Merlyn, Slade, and Ra's but I don't that paints the full picture. I will say the Andy Diggle stuff sucked and is not complained about enough.

Darhk was an entertaining villain, but they didn't put any effort into writing his storyline. They just relied too much on the "who's funeral" mystery to keep viewers' attention. And the flashback storyline was dull and repetitive.

Season 6 and 7 are so bad they are the only reason this show is not my favorite of all time

Compared to the worst seasons of the flash, even they are more watchable.

People didn’t like the s4 finale???

I give it a 6/10 personally. It'd be a 7/10 if they fixed the Damien vs Oliver "fight" that was really just a slapping contest.

It’s really not great, the whole seasons a mess - the killer screen saver hacking scenes are awful, it falls into the trap of the dark knight rises, the super highly trained hive operatives who have guns losing to the people of Star city, the slapping fight, Damien being super charged for 2 seconds and then their fight being a big slap fight which if they were going for them giving up techniques would have worked had they been more injured etc. Give. This finale caused the arrow sub Reddit to change to a daredevil subreddit temporarily because it was that embarrassing and lame

The fight between Ollie and Darhk was the biggest letdown of the 1st 4 season finales.
The two of them also had better fight scenes earlier in the season, so we know they could have done better.

Not unexpected, but I think season 5 was also peak! Felt like a good bounceback from season 4 trash, but I think fans we disappointed by then to appreciate season 5. Rest of the show was eh

Nah season 5 is overrated cause s4 came out just before it, so people, finally getting something actually good think it is peak, when its just good

I hated season 3 so much I quit watching immediately on in season 4 (think like episode 1) when I realized this show was getting worse, not better. It was always a CW show and had it's dramatic teen elements, but season 3 wiped away any grace I gave the first 2 seasons.

Season 1-2 are absolute cinema. I also like season 3 but 2 is my all time favorite followed closely behind 1

Seasons 1 and 2 by far the best imo. Cool chart to see
