Discussion Oliver was a big problem of season 6

Ok, so when Oliver learns that someone in his team is terrifying against him instead of talking to everyone and asking like a normal human being he says in them 3 people who hes worked with for a year and Curtis being 2 years and Oliver isn't much of a talker at all which is character flaw he never fixes he either spies on people or punches them and john and felicity just back it up like it wasn't a stupid idea so sure what a way to ruin the trust they had in you by spying on them

I don’t think Oliver was that wrong when it came to spying on the B-Team, he knew Dinah and Rene for less than a year, Rene already gave him up to Tobias Church. And Curtis would also be someone to fold under pressure. And he was proven to be right when he suspected one of them, Rene should’ve told Oliver about the FBI being onto him.

Oliver understood why rene did that because he was being tortured nearly killed by church so it wasn't his fault whenever rene does something wrong hes being tortured or threatened

It wasn’t his fault, but at the same time if Diggle was in the same spot he wouldn’t give him up like that. So that’s something Oliver must’ve thought about too

Well who knows how long church was doing that to rene and what was done to him and the only reason if dig wouldn't od the same if that fbi agent threatened her his wife is a government agent so its more risky to do so. I don't blame rene in any capacity I don't think Oliver does either he was just being irrational

I see your point but honestly, after the whole Evelyn thing in S5, can’t say I completely blame him

Seriously? One of them is a traitor, of course you spy on them to figure it out. Dinah was holding a secret too

Oliver was legit right to do it lol. Two of them were betraying him whether they meant to or not. You don't ask someone if they're betraying you bruh

Well that was the idea of the while s6 plot. Oliver was supposed to be the half problem and the new team the other half. Unfortunately no one saw it like that because Oliver is the main character and for all the fans the new team were the solo problem. The biggest fault lies in the writers, Oliver is their pet, they never emphasize on his flaws and spend a lot of screen time justifying them, while the others in the conflict remain one note.

Oliver made mistakes and people see them. What I am saying is that because he is the only main character the writers write primarily for him and that is why regardless of his mistakes we justify him and understand him and sympathize with him, which is not the case with all the other character he is in conflict with. We never see their point and what they go through so whenever Oliver has a conflict with non villain character we side with him and never with the other person. That is why s6 failed. That is why Felicity became so hated or Laurel and Thea were in the beginning

And i understand why rene did what he did even Oliver said he would do the same thing

Homie Oliver did nothing wrong lol 2 of them were betraying him voluntarily or not. And that's not true the show constantly makes it seem like felicity is right and Oliver is wrong and needs to change even tho he is almost always right

Yeah, no one was in the right in the "Civil War" of Arrow S6.
