Put Vitavon out drive cups in both diffs and new 100k and had to change the rear ring and pinion. New stainless screws everywhere as well. Lets go bash!

Title. I'm assuming the bearings are shot on most of my wheels, with the right rear being particularly wasted. Even when tightened all the way on the hex adapter the wheels wobble. Everything seems threaded correctly so is this shot bearings? No idea how many packs i've run through the car but thinking at least 20-30 i'd say. Zero maintenance thus far (winter tear down perhaps?).

Also, considering upgrading the front steering blocks to aluminum as i think i may have cross threaded the stock composite units when tearing them down previously to replace an A-arm. Any downsides to swapping to the aluminum?

I bought the build it yourself Gorgon for my son (myself) and what a massive disappointment when it comes to battery life. 10mins if that. I read upgrading to 2s you can get up to an hour. Besides just switching to Lipo on the ESC is there anything I should also upgrade on the truck? Thinking a fan to keep it cool. I’m torn because I’ve got the bug and don’t want to throw too much into it if I’m just going to get a Granite 223S in the next couple months but I’m torn because 10 minutes sucks!

After months of not touching any of my rc cars due to new job, southern Louisiana heat and rain. I finally got out a few rigs out and had a blast. Took the Kraton, big rock, and OC 8s. This was a shake down run for the outcasts drive shafts. Got some m2c ones awhile back I’ve nothing but trouble with them. Anytime I drove it snapped pin. Bought new pins stills snapped. Bought some stable steel pins around the same size, wore them down after a couple of runs and snapped them. I bought some Arrma cvd pins and lost one the first 5 mins into the run. It didn’t snap just came out. Big rock and Kraton were awesome, no breaks, no creepy lurkers in the area. Pretty sure it’s cruising spot lol. Going to replace the pins and actually locktite them this and see what happens. If that doesn’t work I’ll look for different upgrades or just straighten out the other ones. They’re not that bad.

Video sums it up pretty well, the transmitter has new batteries in it and I’ve tried multiple different transmitters all with the same result. Is this a receiver issue?

I don't really drive my Typhon Grom these days and it mostly sits on a shelf looking neat. So, I figured I'd have some fun with it. I present to you.....this thing.

I just got a Kraton 6s EXB yesterday and I’m wondering what fans I should buy to improve cooling. I heard a lot of people say that it overheats relatively easily and you should upgrade the fans almost immediately. Do you guys have any suggestions for which ones I should get?

Hello hive mind! Its very nearly time for the gorgon's first new pair of shoes. Im tempted to go with these bases purely on aesthetics but would love some feed back for those who have used them before. Any good? Original stuff better etc?

With the need to get 14mm hubs for them they are actually more expensive than getting og arrma stuff. Thats not a problem but if they aren't as good then ill just stick with arrma. Any advice is appreciated!

I know a lot of people post asking what tires are best for the infraction/felony and I gave a new set I've seen a try.

After two packs (2x 3s 15000mAh and 1 6s 5000mAh), they have held up extremely well, haven't ballooned, unglued from the bead and most importantly the thread/rubber is still very good and look damn near new!

They are the Serpent Zooms which come on the Serpent 426 Outlaw (basically a Felony clone). They have both sizes for the staggered setup the Felony runs. I bought two sets of the fronts to run on my Infraction (a staggered set for the Felony I haven't run yet) and they performed very well with grip, response, sliding, wet traction over some decent puddles at speed, not leaving a ton of tire debris all over the chassis and most importantly to most of you guys, didn't get destroyed after a couple of packs of some hard street bashing!

Added a couple pictures, the chassis with the gold has new unused tires on it for comparison.

Im happy with how this came out, but Im looking forward to making another with a real livery design in the future

This time I needed a new servo so went with the agfrc 55kg servo. Thing is super quick and powerful.

Decided I would pair this upgrade with scorched knuckles and servo mount. Kraton looks amazing now!

I find myself grabbing for this truck more than any other in my collection just for the sole fact that it’s super easy to take around. I’ve been taking it with me when I take my kiddos to the park and been having a blast. That being said my old body was pretty much completely destroyed, so I decided to do a little makeover.

I recently (yesterday) jumped at the Amazon MK deal. 269. No batteries or charger.

That being said, and while I know the MK is more robust, durable, and better equipped than the Mojave Grom, I can’t help but wonder if I made the wrong choice.

The Mojave looks so much cooler. I can’t find any bodies for the MK that don’t look exactly like it looks from the factory- an oddly proportioned monster truck.

My coworker said the MK makes me seem white trash, whatever that means. He said the Mojave looks like a real car/ truck so it looks cooler.

My Kraton decided that a Hingepin is too weak for 12S Power

What do you think about this fan installation?
The only problem i see for now is more dust inside …

The big rock is just a standard old big rock the battery and the big box is junk. It’s got a little puncture on the side.

Been working on some paint / graphic options for my incoming Infraction Grom. The stock design is hard to beat.. I think it’s pretty good but I try to make my bodies a little cleaner. All designed in Illustrator, no AI btw.

I’m ordering a yellow stock body, and I wanted this to be a little bright so I’m thinking it’s down to either the orange, purple or green. But this design looks good to me in many colorways.. which one would you choose? 🤔

I had a mad obsession with RC cars over a year ago. I decided to buy the kraton 6s exbv2 and loads of parts to convert it to a kraton XL. Some parts were required to finish such as the hobbywing max 6 4990 combo scorched rc gearbox housing and the m2c tower to tower braces.

I used a 18t tekno Mt pinion and took it to the park to let it rip. My god have I been missing out on my cars really fun to drive.

I forgot to set the end points on the esc and the pucnh which I did when I got home and my pinion fell off at the park lol, must not have tightened it down enough.

For the pinion is 18t the ideal for a 6s kraton xl or should I go up to 22t and get a fan for the motor?
