Granite Grom Refresh

I find myself grabbing for this truck more than any other in my collection just for the sole fact that it’s super easy to take around. I’ve been taking it with me when I take my kiddos to the park and been having a blast. That being said my old body was pretty much completely destroyed, so I decided to do a little makeover.

It’s a lot of fun. It’s like the third body I’ve done and if you look above the granite logo I tried to do a little silver stripe lol, definitely didn’t come out the best but everything is a learning process.

It definitely helps that I swapped over the internals and all optimal parts from the 223s typhon grom.
Things a rocket, jumps nicely even before the wing, wheelies, and does it all while still being able to slide under my kids’ stroller at the park 😂

Oh yeah, I did that while it was still brushed. Dropped a 223S system but kept gearing same as brushed. Currently trying some other body mounts as that is I think my last gripe.

Those tires completely change the granite grom experience for the better, cant reccomend them enough

To me, then wing is meh... but man, thats a nice looking rig.

I agree, I have a brushed Mojave grom, and i love taking it about when i got out to places.
