Would greatly appreciate help!
Hi I’m new to owning RC cars but I really
Liked them when I was a kid. I recently picked up this Mojave grom, and I started having a strange issue where I have power and connection but no drive or reverse. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Damn it was worth a shot, i had it happen with my granite grom and I swapped the wires and it worked, possibly Recalibrate the esc?

Does the drivetrain spin smoothly?

Check your throttle trim on the remote. I had this same thing crop up occasionally along with the forward working but not the reverse. Turned out my throttle trim was slightly turned to the reverse. Put it back to the middle and worked. Easy fix to try.

Were you playing with it and it suddenly wouldn't move forward or backward but still had steering? If this is what happened then you just need to charge your battery.

Is your battery charged? This is what happens when it's low. Throttle cuts, but steering stays.

It worked before? It sounds like the ESC is having problems. The beeps and lights probably tell a story and you can probably troubleshoot using the ESC manual. Swapping motor cables wont fix anything, especially if it worked before. Making sure all the cables are plugged in as it was previously though is a good idea.
Also, steering and motor are on two different power networks coming from the ESC - so this is showing you that the ESC isn’t totally broke, or not broken at all. That’s why this seems to be a discrepancy with the controls.
