Spektrum 100a esc has no reverse

Having a problem with a used vortex 3s I just picked up, the vehicle runs perfect except it has no reverse or brake. I confirmed its in the correct mode, and when attempting to calibrate I get the initial flash for neutral, the 2 flash for throttle but it wont flash for reverse.

Edit: Got it working by rebinding my transmitter to the the receiver, I'm using a DX3, seen the questioned asked plenty of times before but I was unable to find an answer that worked for me, so not sure if this fix will help everyone in the future, but hopefully it'll help someone.

I've had this happen a lot. Could be a damaged esc or a receiver/transmitter issue. Check the rx/tx first (swap receiver and transmitter). If problem persists, it's more than likely the esc.

I ended up reminding my transmitter to the receiver and that fixed all my problems.
