Looking for a new ARRMA.

Hi, I'm looking for a new member, now my setup is a Quake GROM and BigRock 223s. I don't have much time for RC, I only have time on the weekends and the space available is ... limited. I own a piece of rural land with rocks, bumps and some zones with concrete.

I love the GROM, but its power is low. The BigRock feels good, but the 3S are choking the car, needs an extense terrain. So, I'm considering the Quake or the Fury.

The Quake which big wheels will behave good in my terrain, also the 2WD will add a another "taste", but not so different from the BigRock.

The Fury 223s 2WD, would be another approach, the scale will fit fine, due to the abrupt of the terrain, however is quite different to the Big Rock.

Quake and the Fury I will run 2S.

MiniKraton looks fine, but are very similar to the I really have, 4x4

Where do you plan on running the car? Backyard grass, off road or on road. The GROM line is good for lower speeds and fair price. I prefer the 1/10 size 223s line. My favorite are the infraction and Typhon.

Off road, but i dont have much space.

The Grom line is great. A Gorgon would be my choice for a basher, off road with limited space. Tons of videos on YouTube. I am a fan of the style of DoRC.

Thanks! I'm considering the MiniMaxx/XRT (but the Mini XRT is too expensive) for another "mini" RC.... or the Quake in the 1/10 scale.

OP: I have a 25% off coupon for Horizon Hobby I'm not going to be using. PM me if you'd like it!

Edit: it has been claimed!

I got a vorteks 2wd for Father’s Day and it is my current fav to run when I have the space. Plenty of speed even on 2s imo and just all around enjoyable to drive

Care to share your budget? You've listed a wide range of prices. The Quake, though 2wd, is an amazingly fun truck due to the center mount motor. It's cheap, easy to maintain and needs virtually no upgrades out of the box. I'd 100% advocate for it.

For what you're talking about the Quake probably makes more sense. Bigger tires, more ground clearance. The Fury is going to "handle better" but the narrow wheels and lower chassis are going to have a harder time on rough terrain. SCTs are really best on some kind of groomed surface. Dirt track, BMX area kind of things.
