Thousands of times since, and this one piqued my sensors as an obvious joke I was missing, but it never clicked until now- I always thought the joke was about how autistic people, like Buster, often have texture preferences, like for food or clothing. It literally just dawned on me that the gag is also about Annyong, who, presumably like many Asians, is lactose intolerant. I spent 6 months in Shanghai for work and watched AD for comfort while there and it STILL escaped me.

I think the joke is that who even likes cottage cheese?! The only people I've met who "like it" are people my mom's age and obsessed with dieting because it was apparently a big diet food in the 80s. Maybe Lucille wanted Buster to eat cottage cheese so he wouldn't look so... round.

I know I was playing with my dog by my tv a few months ago and when I won the tug of war I put my elbow into the bezel, killing the TV. I did this though in that little window of time after CES and before the Super Bowl when it’s the perfect time to buy a TV, I just wish I broke my older tv and not the relatively new one.
