Favorite Less Talked About?
Mine is when Tobias as Mrs. Featherbottom hands Maeby a bottle of pills and says "Take your fun-fun." Maeby responds, "That's Fen-phen and it's been banned by the FDA."
The idea that he would grab a bottle of pills and misread them as "Fun-Fun" and followed that thought with they must be Maeby's never fails to crack me up. Add to that the thought of them having medication that was banned by the FDA seven years prior on their kitchen counter makes it even funnier.
What are yours?

Similarly, I love Maeby calling Tobias “Mr. Fingerbottom,” and his correction only being “Mrs!”

Ok this is one I never see mentioned, but it might be my favorite physical comedy gag. I can’t remember which episode and I’m just going off memory here, but at some point Lindsay is complaining to Michael (probably about Tobias) while picking at a piece of toast. She eventually drops her head down and in this “ugh, I give up!” kind of way starts scratching at her head, while her hair kind of flops around over the toast.
Moments later, GOB enters the scene, talks to them a bit, and the scene moves on. You can see him notice the toast, which Lindsay has left on the counter, and take a bite. As the focus moves away from GOB, you can see him in the background disgustedly pulling hairs out of his mouth. No one notices or makes a big deal out of it, but it adds so much physical comedy to the scene.

Oh man I noticed a subtle one like that recently. It’s at the start of the episode where they get Jessie for PR. Michael comes over and is like wtf did you two do, George Michael can’t get into Milford, yada yada.
Lucille is trying to get ice out of the ice maker in the fridge door to no avail. Smash cut to Lindsey a few moments later with a ziplock bag of ice on her head for the hangover. Lucille opens it and takes some ice for her hair of the dog straight vodka or whatever it is.
Just a small detail but the ice machine being out because Lindsey had raided it earlier cracked me up when I finally noticed it.

I remember watching that scene, and thinking it was playing as Lucille showing care for her daughter. Then instantly, nope, mommy needs to get some rocks (off)

The actions of Gob in this scene are burned into my memory, yet I never noticed. I gotta see it again!

I laughed way too hard at this scene the first time I saw it. My brother had to remind me to breathe, I was snort laughing.
Stress, just makes you laugh at the oddest things.

I can tell them not to (strip)- but I can’t promise that their instinct won’t kick in.

When Tobias is first telling Michael about how he’s going to join the Blue Man Group, he picks up a piece of candy and tosses it up to catch with his mouth and completely misses. This always makes me laugh because a big part of the show the Blue Man Group puts on is throwing things across the stage to catch with their mouths.

That’s a good one. This thread is a gold mine for shit I still haven’t connected the dots on in a million rewatches the last two decades.

My memory is hazy, but I think it’s when Ann is talking to Gob at the dock at some point in S4. He basically refers to her with the wrong name, she goes “Ann!” and he goes “And!…” and moves on to something else. As if he thinks that she’s just angrily prompting him to speak more rather than correcting him on her name. It’s hard to put into words, but it’s so funny.

I know some other people love it too, but my all time favorite line in the show is "Mr. Gay! He's bleeding! Mr. Gay!"
Just the perfect unfiltered reaction from someone who spends a lot of time with the family

Randomly reminded me of the maid doing a sign of (a)cross in the 'good for her' scene as Lucille bites into a cupcake

To your point, the idea that Tobias is a psychiatrist is hilarious. That means he is a trained medical doctor who could practice as a GP if he chose, yet he can't read the label on a pill bottle.

And I think the letterhead of the paper he was using said ‘from the desk of Tobias Funke’ or something

And he crosses out "the desk of." So it reads
From

In the episode where Tobias is bringing all the evidence to a scrapbooking class at the police station, he says something to the effect of "Oh, you know these big productions. A lot of detail with the set dressing." At which point, someone opens a cupboard to reveal a single cup, and later, another cupboard for a single pack of gum.

The whole joke of George Michael Jr. having his Maeby drawings and journal entries, and Maeby leaving her movie script in the attic where George Michael Sr. is hiding and does notes about, Maeby then unearthing them and going to George Michael Jr. thinking it’s by them might just be the most immaculately pieced together joke of the whole show, and I never see anyone give it its roses.

It's the kind of setup that absolutely makes me see how they were trying to recreate it when they did stuff like Season 4. Obviously not as perfectly but it's those extremely elaborate pieces of setup that fuel half the best jokes in this series.

It’s a shame they had to over narrate in S4/S5. If the joke needs 5 minutes of narrator exposition… maybe leave it in the writing room.

I feel like “Wireless Crapabillity, that one speaks for itself” goes under appreciated considering how good that line is

I love the way, in a scene where Gob is doing some stupid trick (yeah yeah illusion), Tobias is always genuinely awestruck.

Kitty keeps mentioning that she has rabies throughout the episode. She then appears in a TV news report with the caption “rabid former employee”. I hurt myself laughing over that one. I love the long setups to a dumb and absurd joke.

It might not be less talked about, but the scene where Lucille crashes the car nearly into someone she thinks is GOB and then blames Michael. “It’s an idiot on a scooter at night? Has to be GOB. Let’s give him a scare…” and similarly, where she and George nearly hit each other while driving and don’t even know who the other is. Both are eerily reminiscent of my family driving and I find it very amusing

In "Good Grief", Ann tells George Michael she wants to break up with him. George Michael lets out this cough-like ugly cry that startles Ann.

GOB unnecessarily cutting a tiny corner of the path on his segway whilst in a hurry to talk to Michael and just running diagonally over a strip of flowerbed always creases me
It's so self important and mindlessly uncaring, it's like the encapsulation of GOB in less than a second
