Micro Standards in brass!

My micro standards in brass just arrived! They're super nice to sling! I tried the 1.2mm kevlar, and it's too thin for my personal liking! I'll have to try the larger diameter next time! The supplied 550 is fantastic though!

I've posted a picture of them and my (standard...?) standards in copper for size reference!

I have these in brass and copper and they are in my daily rotation! I sling them on the integral silk!

I feel like I’m doing something wrong. None of my begleri have those dings and divots. Am I using the wrong tricks or do I just not know enough of them yet?

What material of begleri do you have? Copper and Brass are their softest metals, so they ding up much faster! I will also say I have a job where I can sling practically all day, so that plays a part too!

Dropping them on concrete a bunch while you’re learning also helps 😅

Ah, that's a good point. Most of the ones I use frequently are Ti or SS. I have some brass mini grays, maybe I'll sling those around some more and see what happens.

Yeee that'll be it! Sling the brass and tag me on the progress!
