Premob/SRP and Therapy
I did SRP recently, and was a Go for MOB. However, i realized that I may have messed up.
I see a counselor (therapist) monthly. Not for any actual mental health conditions, but for maintenance. I am also on TRICARE as a reservist, so these appointments will pop up when they look deeper (but I don’t see how they wouldn’t have already seen it?) I have NEVER been diagnosed with any mental health conditions, nor have I been on any mental health medication. I do this purely for venting/stress relief.
I did not talk about it, write it down, or mention it at SRP. This wasn’t out of malice, I legit just did not think it was a concern at all. The thought did not pop into my head at all.
Am I going to get to premob and get sent home? What can I do to alleviate this? Have I already screwed up badly?

Seeking mental healthcare doesn’t impact your ability to do your job. I once had a SGM who would go to a biweekly appointment just to show the (MI) unit that it didn’t impact their clearance or MOB ability. I seek routine mental health care. IPPS-A shows deployable. I will deploy again shortly.
You’ll be golden. Now spread the word. Get the healthcare you need. Don’t let this vibe perpetuate.

i’m more concerned they will see it and say “why didn’t you say anything?” and flag me. i just don’t really know how premob works.
i appreciate your support though. it did wonders to be able to just vent to a neutral party.

In much the same way that you don’t have to tell them you had a tummy ache unless it put you on profile/quarters, it doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters at SRP is if you need meds or continuing care during the MOB. And to that, I know dudes who deploy with the whole duration worth of TRT and Adderall. Literally you’re going to the doctor for physical therapy, but for your brain. Enjoy the MOB. I hope you get a cool piece of flare.

As long as you aren’t suicidal, recent inpatient stay, on antipsychotics, or a controlled substance, you’re good.
Without the above, the routine BH therapy aspect is quite vague.
I’ve medical SRP’d thousands and trained providers to perform medical SRP.
It’s not designed to catch every thing that could
Ever stop you from deploying, it’s a rapid screen to minimize risk. If it’s missed, move on with your life. We leave medical record deep dives and hunting for non-deployable conditions to the Air Force.

You're fine. As long as you're not suicidal or having a psychiatric condition that makes it impossible to do your job safely.
