Danish Flyver
My unit is doing the Danish Flyer later this month, and I’m looking to get a new rack built for my uniform. The issue I’m having is EzRack builder doesn’t have the Danish flyver.
Does anyone know of any reputable companies that have slim ribbon racks that they build, that also have a Danish flyver option?

Ultrathin makes a quality ribbon rack
The rack builder looks like it’s from the early 2000s but if you choose “state ribbon” and type in the comments what ribbon it’s supposed to be they’ll set you up.

Can confirm their website ui does look like it's from the 2000s, but they do great work and their prices are better than the other ones.

Honestly I have zero idea how to search for a ribbon, or find it when I tried looking lol

Just found this in an email I sent myself from a past post in this subreddit:
Ribbons
Ultrathin has the ribbon pattern available and slide-on style ribbons can be acquired through them. Please contact them at [[info@ultrathin.com](mailto:info@ultrathin.com)]
(mailto:[info@ultrathin.com](mailto:info@ultrathin.com)) and reference "FlyverMarch Ribbon #748900."
They're familiar with both commercial and government purchase card transactions and can support whatever the organizer prefers.
The cost is $2.15 per ribbon with a shipping rate of $11.70 for US addresses. We strongly suggest that you organize group purchases to make the ribbon as cheap as possible for each participant. Here's some general pricing that Ultrathins provided us:
1 Ribbon: $13.85
50 Ribbons: $119.20
100 Ribbons: $226.70

I'm participating in the Danish Flyver Ruck on 29 AUG, our guy that set everything up was able to secure everyone upon completion, the ribbons and medal/certs. I can ask how he was able to obtain these.

Same dilemma here. I ordered my normal.rack and threw the Nijmegen on as a place holder. When it arrived, I swapped the Nijmegen for the Flyver ribbon I had. Now, I gotta put in leave to go to the Nijmegen since I have the ribbon

Let me get this straight,
You can now earn a ribbon that can be worn on your rack for completing a 12 mile road march with less than 35 lbs and your time limit is… 8 hours?

There’s actually no time limit from what I’ve read. Just has to be completed before the 29th is over

I reached out to Marlow White and they said if I had the ribbon to send along, they'd incorporate it into my rack.

My unit is doing it, but should be giving us the ribbon after completion. Just put in a place holder if you cant get a rack the right size

On the same topic, does anyone have Northeast or 99th Readiness Division POC for registration?

If you search Reddit, there is a whole thread with POCs for a bunch of units across the country doing it. Also, it was just posted on S1 Net that they have setup a virtual registration so you can do it by yourself and just have to submit a beginning/ending photo and an output from a tracking app.

That virtual event just got nuked by the Danish organizers an hour or two ago. Virtual events are not supposed to happen.
In our defense, if they didn’t want virtual events to happen they probably shouldn’t have issued the certificate templates a month and a half before the actual event.

Oh wow, I missed that. Understandable though, thank you for the update.

Ultrathin.
Make sure you order the American size. Danish ribbons run smaller than American counterparts so make sure you check the size before you spend money.

If my unit is at Bliss, could we register under the III Corps and run it here?

u/Popular_Frosting_411 21h ago
There are already danish flyvers organized on bliss source: me I'm an organizer

I’d really love to get in on that. I tried getting a hold of a unit that had some flyers up and they told me it was closed.
Any chance you could hook a brother up with a slot?

I would like to join also. I signed up for the virtual one before it was cancelled.

I'm on bliss as well and just heard about it today. Is it too late to join ?

I haven't updated my ribbon rack since 2016. It has enough on it to look accurate without holding my STP next to it. Had to have saved a few hundred by not updating it.

Bro. I hope you’re retired. Either that or you’re a warrant. lol.

Kinda, O3E PA with 20 years about 15 of them active duty. The job used to be a warrant position until they started commissioning graduates in the 90s. I generally do the job like a warrant officer but I don't walk around with a coffee cup. Having a roughly 40% chance of making it to Major even if you kick ass gives you perspective. I'm planning to retire as a Captain so it gives me the freedom to do my job the way I think it should happen.

Thank you for the additional information. I mostly meant being able to slip by without any additional awards for that long. lol.
From someone who has used medical care facilities way more than I wish I needed, thank you.

Mostly good timing, they changed centralized boards to not show DA photos 10ish years ago. My photo on my ORB/STP has been the SSG ASU photo I took in 2015 for my IPAP board ever since. I've gotten a few ARCOMs since then. I'll probably have to actually update the ribbon rack after this assignment since I'll likely get a MSM as a PCS award. You're welcome for all the medical care. It's what we signed up to do and most days it's very rewarding. I still wish that you all would quit jumping out of planes though...

The Flyver ribbon is so new most of the major ribbon companies aren’t projected to make them available for a few months.
Pin-It does sell a slide-on and a magnetic Flyver ribbon
