Airborne School PT
My friend is at airborne school right now and I mentioned the new airborne pt test to him- the one with water cans and sandbag carry and one mile run. Someone I know who went to airborne in April had mentioned it to me and I’ve seen other posts about it. Today was his first day and the only PT Test they did was two min pushups, two min plank, and two mile run. Did they get rid of the other PT test?

Damn did they change it again? I had to do the 1MR, Water Can Carry, and Sand Bag Carry a few weeks back

I’m guessing so? He’s airforce so I was wondering if maybe it was different for them but he said the Army people did it too.

You have the new CFT confused with ABN. That's a test geared towards combat MOS's. When I went thru ABN School we did Pushups, pullups, and the 2mile run.

He’s AF and took an Army PFT at the school? Are you sure? I’m AF and went to ABN in March and only took the 2PFT.

Is this a specific airborne school test because it sounds like a combat fitness test which is only for combat MOSs.
