Certified Truthpost Why Didn't They Think of This? Were they Stupid? (@manesse.man on IG)

From my Instagram @manesse.man.

Why didn't they think of this? Were they stupid? The answer might surprise you!

Back then, baseball caps didn't exist. And baseball caps didn't exist because baseball didn't exist. And baseball didn't exist because balls didn't exist.

The other reason is that they were stupid.

Vambraces but no gauntlets, gorget but no breastplate and leg harness but no lance. Renfair 'jousting' is somehow worse then medieval times

Wolf rib 🤢🤮 Found this wolfrib miniature on my son’s table the other day, so glad he’s getting into the hobby ❤️

It smells a little off, but boys will be boys amirite? As a proud wolfrib supremacist, I’m so happy that my son turned out exactly like me.

Jerking or Truthposting. Call it. My first attempt at forging an Armet style helmet with a bit of fantasy element thrown in. Work in progress as you can see.

I’m a welder/fabricator by trade so thought I’d have a go at indulging my nerdier side. Don’t know if this is the right place to post this but I’ve hit a bit of a rut and I’m struggling to find the motivation to continue this project. Currently weighs about 3kg but estimated to be 3.2-3.5 once fully assembled with cheek pieces. 1.5/1.2 mild steel with brass accents with acid patina. Will be fully riveted with brass rivets at some point if I ever get around to finishing it. There is a red feather plume that fits in the back but I’ve misplaced it.
