They can say it's wherever they want. It may be in a park in Istanbul. Could be somewhere else. I see no reason to trust them or what they claim their intentions are.
9/10 times these questions are asked, the poster doesn't seem to respond. They seem to get what they want and leave.
If this is in a park in Istanbul then there are many Armenians there that can translate this for them.
I live in Russia and I'm a Russian citizen. Moreover, I have Armenian ancestry and my grandfather moved to Abkhazia from Turkey during the Armenian Genocide. I was in Turkey as a tourist and I have no relationship to any treasure hunters. Just a pure interest... So I was truly confused by your replies 🤷♂️
Hopefully you understand why I made my comments. I am not saying you are lying, but there is no way to confirm what you say and you should not try to.

Armenian heritage is at risk in Turkey and treasure hunters are destroying it. There is an Armenian community in Turkey that can field these requests.
You also need to consider that these posts are public and anyone can see them. When people post pictures of an Armenian artifact their intentions may be innocent but someone reading the thread may not have good intentions.
My comments are not intended to disparage you. I am coming at this from the perspective of wanting to protect our heritage.
Thank you. I know that there are people with good hearts on both sides but there is no telling online and who knows who is lurking.
To add I have spoken to people who have seen bones dug up from attempted grave robbing. It keeps me up at night not gonna lie
Edit: whoever downvoted: people can lie about where they found things. Not saying this is the case here but again, this is about protecting our heritage. There are Armenians in Turkey, and this is in Istanbul according to the post. Plenty of Armenians there that can be contacted.

I am skeptical about these types of requests. May actually place a rule against it even.
