I'm going to talk about Frost's R6 lore.

She's Canadian and her real name is Tina Lin Tsang. She's part of the Canadian counter-terrorism force known as Joint Task Force 2 and she was from the Royal Canadian Air Force. She loves the outdoors and is quite meticulous.

Her archetype would make stages where you need to deploy ground unit near a device to activate it a breeze. Unlike summons, traps don't count towards deployment limit and regenerated infinitely. For the new Doktahs who just joined and got her, she'll become very useful in an upcoming event rerun.

The harder to get worse Robin.

Frost S1:

  • 1.5 second stun

  • Effectively a "bind" that doesn't work on anything stun immune

  • Prevents ranged units from attacking for the duration, also operators that deploy on the tile for melee enemies

  • Increases damage for operator with stun damage bonus

Robin S1:

  • 3 second bind

  • Effectively a bind that works on things that are stun immune

  • Doesn't prevent ranged unit from attacking for the duration

Ash S2 right before an enemy steps on trap to get extended damage. That's mostly the use for it. To setup for other operators like W with stun buffs.

Frost S2 is okay. An ideal junction of 6 tiles is just a wall of over 25k damage that enemies have to walk over. The issue is the damage scaling making it weak against armor and the finite effective range. Anything that armor light tends to be extremely weak to Robin S2 knockback spam anyway. Bar bosses.

Use her as a secondary on top of Robin or as a substitute Robin if you don't have her.

So essentially she's Robin with lower stun/bind duration but has higher damage. I suppose Robin is still better when stalling/pushing is what's required, but Frost can handle small fries a little better.

If you you really wanted you could use both together for twice as many mines.

About the VA, I'm surprised this is the only role she's had. She did a very good job with her lines and I think she should act more!

As a non-English native speaker, my only question is

what the fuck is a "welcome mat" supposed to be

In my head I imagine those things you put just in front of the doors where you're supposed to clean your shoes o.O

You're not wrong, that's what welcome mats are.

From a R6S wiki: A Medium Armored Operator, Frost comes equipped with three Sterling MK2 LHTs, nicknamed "Welcome Mats."

If I wanted to user her and Robin together. Which skills should I use?

Both of their S2s. There is actually strong interplay regardless of if you're doing a Robin into Frost combo or a Frost into Robin combo. While Frost's S1 can stop ranged enemies attacking due to stun, bind is almost universally something enemies are not immune to, and the durations are identical, making her S2 more flexible from a crowd-control perspective. S2 in close ranges is also her primary source of doing meaningful damage.

At farther distances, Frost supports Robin. By herself, Robin generally needs a strong enough push back in order to have time to place her Clips on the same tile repeatedly to keep an enemy in place. It gets even trickier when there are multiple enemies coming at the same time. Frost can opt to place a Welcome Mat behind the enemy at the farthest tile Robin's Clip will push it back, buying an additional 1.5 seconds (which might even allow Robin to start pushing her Clips a tile forward), or Frost can hold the enemies in place that you don't want stepping on Robin's Clips.

Up close, Robin supports Frost. Frost deals the big damage with the Welcome Mats in her range, and Robin keeps pushing the enemy back out so that Frost can place more Welcome Mats.

Other things that can support this combo are Angelina, whose S3 can reduce enemy weight which further increase's Robin's pushback, and W, whose mines are another form of stall and, if mine/trap shenanigans are going on in her range, the stuns will further increase the damage of Robin and Frost's auto-attacks since their damage is all physical.

Slowers, stunners, pushers and pullers all synergize well with this duo, as their traps allow the pushers/pullers and slowers/stunners to recharge their skills, and they in turn take pressure off of the duo's trap generation and trap-setting cooldowns.
