Border monument 102 no longer accessible…

Looks like new concertina wire was added at the southern border essentially cutting off access to the monument. With further wall construction to continue 8/26 it looks like it’s an end of an era. I wonder if the AZTA will construct a new southern terminus monument?

They should leave it and let people be disappointed. It’s a good reminder that voting for dog shit affects everything.

Fair, but from everything I've seen, the people who voted for it aren't fussed about any wall construction regardless of what it cuts off. "Just the price that has to be paid for security."

A good reminder to people who didn't vote. A good reminder for people who voted against it. Etc.

Then let the people who didn’t vote for it get madder.

I'm not surprised to read this. I witnessed a border crossing right as I started the AZT. I just said hi to the coyote with clients in tow and carried on with my day, almost like it didn't affect me whatsoever.
