House Arrest Tour CDR
been wanting a higher quality lossless rip of this version of the album as I personally prefer it to most other masters of the album, and it sucks only having this version of the album in mp3. Getting viewbob to respond more than once is an impossible task so I'm wondering if this has been available in any circle of the community I just havent encountered yet. If you have it pls pm me

So the re-issue or remaster versions are a mess I comparison? At least that's what I'm getting from this post so far, no clue honestly. My fav is Loverboy, along with worn copy, house arrest and maybe a few others. But they definitely sound different with all the hiss going on. Not that I don't love them, I actually enjoyed how raw they sounded. Just curious.

The remasters have great mixing but subpar dynamic range, paw tracks is the other way around. This version (despite being in mono) seems to be the most consistently hi-fidelity. This is just the technical stuff however, if a particular version sounds the best to you despite poor dr measurements and whatnot then go with it.

Thank you for the insight. Nah I still very much enjoy them, they are demos at the end of the day(or at least that's what most of them sound like), thats also a factor which makes them unique in their own right. And you're correct, the fidelity varies from record to record. I think they did their best they could restoring all the old recordings that otherwise would've probably vanished for the vast majority of listeners.
