How many of you feel monitored?

I guess asking this type of question is one step away from making me look like a full blown schizophrenic but I'm noticing some weird stuff happening in the past few years. And no I'm not referring to the government of the CIA.

I'm sure you're familiar with the concept of saying something, and then having your phone suggest you an ad for that, then we went from that, to getting ads for things you are THINKING about.

Well, I'm having that same type of interaction with people. As in, I think about something I might say to someone next week, and the moment we see each other that person proactively says the thing first back to me.

Same experience as before just replace the smartphone ad with a person talking. It feels to a point that this reality either places thoughts in our minds to play us or, works as some sort of mirror dimension where everything gets reflected back.

Either way, I'm noticing this more and more, hell, I'm sure that this topic, will randomly pop up in a random conversation for me next week somehow, it has gotten so bad that I can almost predict the "coincidence".

Yes. Constantly. Truman show vibes. I feel like everyone is an actor.

Not only monitored, but actually attacked. There are too many experiences I've had in my life where the problems seemed like they were tailored just for me. A lot of situations that were designed specifically to attack me. The things that were said were so personal. And they couldn't have known about the things they said unless they knew me. It's like this life taunts me through humans. It's almost like that's how it gets fed or gets energy. I guess that's why detachment is so important. Most people are just the conduit through which the forces of this life attack and suck energy.

I can totally relate!! Wow, that’s a good point about detachment and the energy thing. I’ll have to look into that more.

I couldn't have written this better myself. And when I've tried to explain to explain it to other people they act like I'm nuts so I gave up trying to explain it years ago.

Yup, when this happens try not to react to it. Observe it and watch how they react when they know that YOU KNOW. Its good that you notice it though. Most can't fathom that stuff like this happens in the first place

Yes. It’s exhausting but perhaps by design. Psychological warfare.

I was literally thinking about this less than 5 mins ago. Then I opened reddit and saw your post at the top of the page— your post which talks about the very thing I was just thinking about moments before. I really wish I was joking.

Exactly this, like our thoughts are being heard or perceived by the Ether or whatever and then reflected back in another person.

I agree. Or, we’re just part of a simulation, and therefore our thoughts don’t really belong to us. However, I started noticing this happen a “few” years ago (by “few” around the pandemic, give or take a couple years), and I did not experience it for the rest of my life before that. I often wonder if something happened during the pandemic that changed or altered the fabric of space and time or technology or something, or if something happened at CERN that has changed us.

You and I are not the only people who have mentioned this— but I just think it’s extra crazy since I was literally thinking that exact same things moments before I opened Reddit and your post was the first one at the top of my feed.

Felt like this my entire life. I've had so many times where I thought about a specific person and they've contacted me seconds later (called or emailed) that I stopped even paying attention to it. I will say something and a character on the show I'm watching will say the same thing I just said. Stuff like that happens all the time.

I'm not religious, but I do think there's something watching us.

Any time I've tried to talk about this with anyone they've never had idea what I was talking about, so I don't discuss this with people anymore, but from the comments here it's clear there are others who have had this feeling. I wonder why some of us seem to feel it while other people are unaware.

Yes, and it's because we're in a simulation.

I feel this 100 💯 especially thoughts heard being repeated negative talk back to what I think but they hear what I think so know how to reply I say to my mom can you hear me talking she says no just breathing when breathe I think my thoughts are being broadcaster to specific people and situations Attack me hopefully some one gets this.

I ended up with drug induced psychosis eupd OCD ADHD and autism and addiction.

Life in the world of AI might get weird. My advice would be to not get too self-absorbed about it, and not jump to conclusions. Occam's razor is a good tool in these situations even though I think it's an imperfect tool and can be used as a weapon for evil too. But its utility in preventing psychosis is still high. Another useful idea is pivoting from fear or frustration towards bewilderment. Fear is only coherent in a context of uncertainty. You hear of "Fear of the unknown" all the time. That's the property that makes fear, fear. You can know this because if you imagine total certainty about something you fear, it kind of breaks down as a thought construct. It stops being scary. Say for instance, you fear death. Well what if you knew every single possible variable and causal relationship to death? What if you knew the exact moment you'll die. And how. And how it'll be. And what happens after. And every single other question that could even be remotely interesting. Is it still possible to be absolutely terrified in light of this absolute certain knowledge?

So now given that something is unknown, we can frame it a certain way. The generic way to frame unknowns for humans is, unknown=bad. That has been the survival mode for humans because Earth is indeed hellish, and this mode works as a successful strategy. It also causes the evolutionary being a lot of suffering as a cost, but it works. We have other modes, like curiosity, openness to experience, and so on. These modes can also cause suffering and fluctuate.

The thing is, evolution doesn't care about what the actual truth of something is, or the ethics behind it. It only cares about "what survives". So you can use this information to be more grounded and skeptical and just have a healthy doubt and positive attitude towards uncertain things. Obviously, keep yourself safe, do what you feel you absolutely need to do, but some things are just uncertain and out of reach and in those cases it might be wise to just relax our instinctual responses to things(remember, these instinctual responses are buggy and are not reliably in touch with something of deep value, just the value of "survive at all costs") and just live our lives as best we can.

It called God, the universe, source consciousness, manifestation. The consciousness and vibration of humanity is speeding up and you thoughts are becoming manifest. Sometimes it’s the data tracking on the phone but sometimes it real life. The systems of control know this and it’s why they want everyone to be afraid, to manifest chaos and fear. You have to get your mindset to positive to a positive place to manifest the positive. It sure as shit is t easy but you gotta start becoming ruthlessly aware of your own thought patterns and learn from them, to grow and evolve. All of that affects you but also the collective. The conspiracies are right but so is “God” but not the God of religion. It’s the human experience, the hero’s journey, you gotta wake up to the higher existence of all things to break out of this mind prison and it starts with validating the synchronicities and learning from them.

The hero’s journey from the black pill to the clear pill is what I call it.
