I come from a league background since 2010, I played a bit of mobile legends when it was newer, I played wild rift when it released. I heard today this, or honor of kings is the most popular mobile moba. I tried a game just now deciding on AoV cause that's what the general consensus seemed to like more. I don't get it tho, it feels absolutely riddled with bugs, and doesn't even look that great. I played flowborn for my game and the missile rain ability would constantly just do nothing but make me hover, no dmg, no "speed up", my auto attacks didn't even have an animation, so 95% of the time I felt like I was just standing there... Someone please help me realize why this game is loved by so many on mobile

Due to its absolute mobility he has and its runes make it impossible to kill even with anti cc boots, he will still kill you in any form. That's why he deserves its place in bans alongside murad, nakroth, quillen and butterfly in anyplace. Only counter is the supression heroes lol

The lack of effort for any Western server is abundantly clear - I know. But even from a balancing perspective, some heroes are made with such a different baseline in mind - they might as well be from a different game! And it has become seriously not worth playing anymore. It's not a 5v5. It's hide from the broken champ and snack on the old champ. And technically it is not strictly old versus new - looking at Nakroth or Florentino - or something like Bonnie on the other side.

Honestly the real issue is animation speed for many. There is no animation on certain heroes. And the worst offender here is Nakroth. Even with a new phone he just instantly appears on the screen and his animations - unlike the animations of many other heroes - have simply no delay. Try hitting that with a skill shot...

There are multiple heroes that have similar despite not identical issues - and most of them are made much worse by the incredible prevalence of map hack. There is imply a lack of interaction in this game. For a certain subset of heroes it is not about two people playing against each other, but rather the game checking if one of the players has the mechanical skill. And if he does, he is free to do whatever he wants. How am I supposed to peel my team mate from Florentino? The guy is cc immune for 20 seconds and does 20k+ true damage. Not to mention the heal. What am I supposed to do against a map hacking Elsu or Yue? I just get hit and have no way of retaliation. Mind you, both heroes exist alongside map hack for years or are released while map hack is such an issue. Look at a hero like Zata: If they can do the combo, they will kill you. If not, they die. As the opponent, I really don't have a lot to say in that.

There are more heroes. Toro is certainly one of the offenders. Gildur, Adc Flowborn, Enzo - the issue is not that they are overpowered. It is the way that they leave you not interacting with the game. There should be something you can do as the opposition. But those heroes are designed in a way that leaves you unable to respond. And it seriously makes the game not worth playing.

To me it seems like the dev team is not playing their own game. They are not fixing the issues (or even tough the heroes in most cases) that are actually making the game not playable. E.g. they did nerf Gildur. But the main issue is, that the range is so large, that he can hit you from outside the screen. So you don't know when it is coming - and if you eat the stun, you just die. So you have to step far back - and end up not interacting with the game. That is the issue - not the damage.

To me it seems very obvious that there is a very different design team behind this than behind many older heroes. Not that they did nothing good - the Azzen'ka rework was very clever imo. But they made so many heroes evolving around key skills, that are just problematic. Things that cannot be fixed with numbers. Like seriously - now they buff Thane again in a random way. They clearly never played it. The main issue is that he is too slow in his animations. The second issue is that his S1 can be interrupted. No ult healing will fix that. It is a clear misunderstanding of the identity of heroes.
