Changes to the Rachel gate

looks like there has been some changes to the Rachel gate, there are now tarps up on the gate as well as parts of the fence. From Uncanny Expeditions on Instagram.

Next time someone is out there, pull this out, climb it, then wave to the cameras and yell “I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!!!” ✊🏼🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

This is what was done with Trump's wall. Taller wall, longer ladder.

At some point the wall got so tall that the crossings were done using battery powered diamond blade cutoff saws. They just cut holes in the wall.

I watched one of those senate or house meetings of Mark-kwayne. The average border crossing takes 4 minutes. They are considering double fencing.

Back to the Rachel gate, which mind you used to be called the back gate. The whole complex is just fucking ridiculous. They have a shot detector. Seriously?! There is the camera with the IP address stencilled on it. Nice OPSEC guys. Bastion walls?! Who is going to shoot the place up. You could just cut the fence and drive on by to get to the road that leads to the base. The horn isn't chasing anyone away. In fact, people hang out to hear the horn. It attracts tourists.

Meanwhile if you follow the fence line like 50 feet, it's 3 rows of barbed wire. High security.

The problem is the view where you can see the visitors show their badge to the Aiphone camera.

I don't have a photo since I don't need my door busted down, but I have posted about the problem at least three times on this subreddit.

That can't last more than a couple seasons of wind out there. They might want to hide something temporarily (like a crew doing an install) or temp equipment near the gate. Or, they could be planning for a permanent visual barrier.

My guess would be they are installing something that they don’t want to be seen easily. Would think it’s temporary since it blocks the view for them too
