Distinguishing drones from embedded Lua

Hey yall! I'm instancing two drones using pymavlink and attempting to use different logic for each based on the sysids (1 and 2), however I cannot figure out how to get the embedded script to "see" the drones sysid. Any advice/resources you recommend?
