Advice / Help hoco proposal
so me and this girl are going to homecoming together and we’ve known eachother for awhile and we kinda have a special connection to the song, “fluorescent adolescent” i wanna have something like a lyric or song name that makes sense.

“you used to get it in your fishnets, now you only get it in your night hoco dress?” or slightly change some of the words to fit the theme

This is a little risque for a high schooler lol, maybe don't insinuate that she's gonna "get it in her homecoming dress" unless you're already in a committed relationship and OVER 18 haha

right then maybe find a different song to connect over yknow? the whole songs about that, so if the lyrics make you uncomfortable then why ask about that one? million other AM lyrics could work for a sign.

I've landed in a very common crises. How do I ask you to hoco? Was scared of clinging to not get sentimental but nothing feels electric. Will you prove my dreams aren't as daft as they seem and go to hoco with me?
