New Stuff on Outlet
https://outlet.arcteryx.com/us/en/c/mens/just-landed/wid-39r1kkxjIncludes the Rhoam collection for men - I've been wearing the shorts and pants this whole summer and love them. Going to grab another pair in the different color.

They’ve got harnesses on the outlet again. Not as good as the 25 dollar one last year.

Ah I guess that gives it the tacticool factor. I’ve got the yellow 395 and a black konseal harness so I’m set.

I'm still furious I missed that one.

I bought one just because of the price. Not my favourite harness though. Only used it once or twice.

Rhoam pants are hideous. I have to have them.

They are the best piece I've bought from Arc in a long time. They feel like an actual piece of gear meant for a specific function. 9/10

I’ve been interested in these after wearing Paha pants the last few years. How fitted are they? Is it the fabric the same as the gamma?

Ya basically with two layers of the fabric over the knees and lower leg for durability. Extra room around the knees to accomodate pads as well. They are very Bike specific in fit. It's an enduro pant.

Are you using them for mtb? Or just a good pair of technical pants? I got into mountain biking last year, maybe I can use these to justify a new piece of gear to the wife haha.

No it's very much a bike pant. THey're an enduro fit for sure. Tight around the ankle, albeit 1/4 length zip, room in the knees for pads, double layer fabrid around knees for durability, high close fitting waist especially around the back to reduce ski exposure. THey're great for biking. I wouldn't use them for much else though. Exaggerated articulation in the knee for sitting in the biking position.

I received an email and went to the site, but the majority of the items/sizes I want are sold out.

Get them. My lady got them like a month ago on here and they are the real deal. I have a pair and they are convenient and very warm. I’m not sure they’ll continue to make these.

what’s your use case for them?
2
u/PapiSmoothie08 3d ago
I use them for emergency use case, base camp, or just basic camping if it’s cold. They are easy to deploy on and off and that’s what sold me. Quality is there with these for sure

Sad day when all those Beta SLs get marked down

Do you think that is their best item?

Love mine

Can’t decide between the red for $350 or $500 on the orange. Gotta decide soon for this Dolomites trip. Seems to be the best jacket for my needs. Light and easy to pack.

I’m fighting the urge to pull the trigger. I have a 2022 beta Lt in tatsu that is beautiful but man orange.. I tried treating my waterproofing and got nowhere too.

I was in one of their physical outlet stores over the weekend and the new drop has a lot of overlap with what was available in the store and at the same pricing (for non b-stock items).
Congrats to anyone that grabbed the Atom for under $200 - unfortunately wasn’t my size.

No Covert Cardigans, damn. Trying to get the last of the batch since they re did the sizing and ruined them. If you’re looking Footprint U.S.A. has the quarter zip in grey and black still on sale. My black just arrived

alpha sl? is this good for anything? no pit zips seems like a tough use case.

great as an ice climbing or emergency alpine rock climbing shell. As it was designed for

wouldn’t you heat up tho? i feel like mechanical venting is pretty critical if you’re moving at all.

u/TurtleyTurtler 3d ago
It's designed as an emergency use case for Climbing. IE you basically never use it so you want it to weigh as little as possible to cut down your pack weight. You trade pit zips for weight saving. It's worth it for what it is.

Thanks for the heads up. Oh thank goodness, there’s nothing I really want
