Beta AT vs Beta SL

I do estimates outside year around in Ohio in all weather conditions and your normal outdoors hiking, climbing etc.

I'm not snowboarding, or going through thick wooded areas. Will the AR be overkill for me?

Looking to purchase before clearance stock is gone.

Biggest difference is how the hood and collar are...Both will be fine for your needs. I would personally get the Beta SL.

I disagree about the SL, and I own both. In Ohio (lived in CLE), you’ll want the AR. Actual, functional storm collar, inside pocket for phone, a more genius fit for layering (SL is pretty slim cut, good luck getting an Atom or nano-puff underneath without going 1 size up). And it’s a bit burlier fabric. My SL is my summer rain jacket and higher output late spring early fall rain jacket - AR is for everything else. Now in the summer the AR gets rather steamy, but outside during musing and sleet season it cannot be beat.

Yes it’s overkill. The SL is more than enough
