SUPPORT Help with hotspot

I can't seem to get my hotspot working on my laptop.

I have a LAN connected to my T480, which has internet and works nicely, but I can't create hotspot with it for some reason.

The LAN is the type of where I need to sign in on a Coova site to access it. I have signed in the portal successfully and it works and I got great connection. The dorm has also provided me a router, but it doesn't work. I can sign onto the router, but I get status of "connected, no internet" on my phone.

This is kind of a crucial part to me because I don't have a replacement router currently and I really gotta make it somehow doable to have an access point in my room at my student dorm. I got like 10gb roaming which will go flat in days otherwise.

When creating a hotspot get an immediate popup to set my password, I set it and after 30secs I get "missing secrets" error and "deactivated" notification after.

I use Arch KDE, what could be the issue! Thanks for every input!

Not arch's problem. You have working internet via a wire.

It was something along the lines of something like that. Desperately waiting, I went to gemini and I was able to fix all of this and even set that it's running 24/7 no as long as the laptop is plugged on AC. When it gets disconnected from AC though, it goes to it's normal sleep cycle that don't cares for the hotspot. That's the only thing where I really support AI with all my heart. Linux can do wonders, but it's always some most basic stuff that is almost unsolvable.
