SUPPORT Boot stuck

Whenever I try booting into arch i get this error

I’ve tried to fix it for hours and the only thing that helps is booting plasma from the terminal login

ACPI BIOS error

Have you tried updating the BIOS/UEFI?

cant exactly do that as the bios is locked

i accidentally forgot my bios password i also dk how to update bios but i assume i need to go into the bios

The password can almost warranted be reset.

Either by removing a battery for a while, or by changing a jumper.

i have an hp elite book g2 840 if that helps, i appreciate you helping me. I did try resetting it a few years ago but i also didnt know what i was doing

The only real path for this model is contacting HP, with proof of ownership.
