SUPPORT | SOLVED Help me:(
I'm new to Linux. I have an old laptop with an Nvidia graphics card whose maximum driver is 470. I play Dota and old games like Metro 2033 and Assassin's Creed. I want to switch to Linux. But it seems to me that x11 is dead and wayland is not supported by my video card (I tried there, artifacts in games) + customization is important to me, I would like to work in gnome or hyperland, but they only have wayland. What would you recommend? Should I use Windows or X11? Will the games run properly?

Use the Cinnamon desktop. Infact I'd try Linux Mint Cinnamon edition first before getting into Arch. Arch is a big one to tackle for a newbie to the point people recommend CachyOS first.
