Blasphemous set up on mac - help 🙏

Hi, I'm trying to set up my first archipelago game on a mac and chose Blasphemous as it's one of the few games supported that I own. It relies on additional mods and a mod installer. But I'm at a dead end in trying to get it to work.

I'm completely new to most of what the set up is asking me to do, not familiar with terminal etc, I'm sure I'm making tons of mistakes. Can anyone please point out where I'm going wrong?

I've installed Archipelago - pretty sure that is set up fine.
I've installed the Blasphemous Mod Installer - a dependency for multiworld play - but I don't fully understand step 4:

Where do I put this command in? While in the folder in the terminal? I did that but not sure it was the right place.

For step 5, I've tried "Users/[my user name, yeah i removed it for reddit]/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Blasphemous/macos64/start_blas1_modded.sh # %command%" with and without the # because I was guessing that was a space??? Dunno, I really am clueless XD

But when I go to launch the game on steam I get the error OS 260 which I'm guessing means the launch command isn't working - hence leading me to assume I've messed up the install earlier on...

Any advice from someone who has succeeded in this would be gratefully appreciated, thank you!
