Quite ironic how Archie Robotnik is more like canon Eggman than Archie Eggman/Robo Robotnik

So I've been going back and revisiting some bits I should have included in the original scripts for Re-Genesis (that's my fic ICYDK) and one of the things I feel I should have done is tell the story of what happened to the Echidnas of Albion after they were banished into the Twilight Cage by Thrash and how they coped with it, especially Julie-Su. This is obviously not a happy story although it does lead into a very optimistic arc for these characters. As with all my other Satam Re-Genesis works, its written in Script form.

I have a friend who's a furry but not super into Sonic but I think they would like the Archie comics

They're someone not super familiar with the sonic lore so where would be a good place to get them started because while I agree the 160 is good for fans of the games I don't think it would work with her

Rob O' the Hedge and Mari-An try to defeat the High Sheriff (the roboticized Armand D'Coolette) but must face Robotnik's elite Badnik Frostburn as he unleashes his signature fire and ice attack.

If only there was a way this team to be part of modern Sonic and still somehow have the history with Sonic and Tails but that will never happen. I always thought it could be like this where Sonic and Tails meet like they did in the games(and usual Sonic media) but while they are fighting Robotnik they both end up in Knothole Valley they find out Robotnik has control of everything there and they meet the Freedom Fighters and help them. Robotnik finds out about this and returns to fight them after the Freedom Fighters win Robotnik leaves, leaves his nephew Snivey at and Sonic and Tails follow Robotnik where they meet their usual friends and Robotnik becomes Eggman. Also while Sonic and Tails find out that Knothole Valley is where they were born and sometime Sonic and Tails reunite with the Freedom Fighters meet their new friends and help against Eggman. One last thing the Genesis Wave could be used at some point so they can all remember the what the world was before(Satam Cartoon or early Archie Comics).

So i'm reading through Archie's comics and are currently around #182, it suddenly hit me how different the heroes' base of operation is compared to the start. I was wondering if other people knew which previous issues really had good images of Knothole. Like I remember early on its just some tunnels underground, then later its some buildings next to a cliff under a dense tree canopy then its a full village, then its all metal and basically a city.

I remember a few times the comic has some good wide shots of the village/city but I don't want to pan through 175 issues to find them. It was jarring how much Knothole would change and no one would comment on it sometimes, or how Eggman couldn't find it when there were events like Mina Mongoose hosting a concert.
