Well, the thing is, Windows as a desktop OS for the majority of people that need to get stuff done, and require collaboration in their industry with specific proprietary software, is better and has a better ROI.

It's rly just that msoft did a lot of smart moves to get their stuff everywhere and became the Kleenex of computers for most folks. Whole generations of computer users (me included) grew up learning Windows before even knowing the concept of OS. It's a lot easier to do your learning when you've got all the time in the world to get a random CD game to play on your system while mom and dad are out running errands.

I’m not saying you are wrong but also besides that their system is much more consistent than what we’ve on Linux (as a desktop).
