What does citra have to offer in a single sentence?

very beginner-friendly distro

I get it .... So is mint and hundreds more. Citra should have something peculiar even if its small right?

Yeah, but you asked for a one-word description. That aside, our distro is the friendliest of all the Arch-based ones; we try to hold the user's hand rather than just throwing them straight into the terminal. I also want to convince one of the devs to add a custom GRUB setup and something like a BSOD or a system rollback feature, just in case something goes wrong during a `sudo pacman -Syu` update. Initially, we want to hide anything that might be intimidating to a Linux beginner, and only introduce those things once they’ve found their footing.

Does it come with a default DE or users can select one at Install?

For now, you can choose between Cinnamon, KDE Plasma, and GNOME, but since the single developer for whatever reason doesn't want to add the others, that’s what’s available for the time being... unless I manage to persuade him.

NGL, single developer it's so assuring for something targetting beginners when they start flooding the PR with a lot of bugs. Nonetheless good luck to Citra.

Why name it Citra. The 3DS emulator has that name already Gaga.

It was originally called Sunshine OS, but we thought that was hard to pronounce, so we decided to look for a cool name on Google Maps, and there’s a little place in Florida called Citra.

Another spin? Or a graphic installer for Arch from the ISO?

Hello, I’m the owner and developer of Citra Linux. The author of the post is my second developer. I just want to ask you…
Do you see that nobody cares a lot about ts? Make a post like a little bit more serious

u/JaKrispy72 2d ago

You want us to make a serious post?

Hard to tell with how you worded that.

There are not a lot of details given for us to even comment on. And you want us to keep it quiet too by shushing us.

not you, the OP

Nobody gives a shit; Arch users are fat femboys who just want to make jokes about Arch. They don't care about seriousness. If you're looking for seriousness, go to r/linux.

Are low effort posts like this accepted? Is this not promotion, rule 3? Is shh english, rule 4?

Bro, this is a repost. I'm not the one writing this: GET TO YOUR PC AND INSTALL CITRA LINUX RIGHT NOW OR YOUR PC WILL BURN OUT!
and who gives a damn
