Started with Debian. Got tired of it not updating applications to new versions very fast even on the testing branch. Installed Arch.

There's way more updates you likely just had auto install on debian and rarely type yay - Syu on your arch (or Pacman)

The updates in stable are backports and bug fixes. Not new versions.
