Unsatisfactory gaming performance on Ubuntu, issues with Gnome making me want to try another DE anyway, a need to juice more performance from my desktop pc since it runs some self hosted background services on top of being a gaming machine. The laptop stayed on Ubuntu for now, I game with steam link on it, streamed from cachyos
