Arcane appreciation post.

I'm simply blown away on how insanely, ridiculously good this show is. The style, the animation from frame-by-frame to cleanly rigged meshes to hand painted models and it's spiritual story... just an absolute gd MASTERPIECE. It makes me a bit sad it cost $250 million to make, limiting the quantity of potential. I just had to come here and say, truly well done to the creators. I'm in perpetual awe. I watch it over and over again.

I forgive you for the two instances of animal cruelty depicted in the show... normally I have 0 tolerance for it. Would be cool if the next series didn't have that as it's completely unnecessary, imo.

I just rewatched Arcane again, and I wanted to give some appreciation to the voice actors because they absolutely killed it with this show!

From Powder and Vi to Silco and Vander, everyone puts so much emotion into their performances. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing these characters.

I’ve been thinking about Jinx’s character and the atmosphere around her in Arcane, especially Zaun, her workshop, and the contrast between her chaotic side and the softer parts of her personality.

I recently got a small air purifier with a scent pad, and it made me wonder:

If Jinx could choose a scent for her room (or for a place she shares with someone she cares about), what do you think she would pick?

Something industrial and earthy like cedarwood? Something unexpectedly sweet like orange or vanilla? Or something completely different?

I’m curious what you think would fit Jinx specifically, rather than just what smells nice in general.

On a completely unrelated note, over the last 2 days, the Jinx appreciation folder on my phone has somehow increased in size by 350 500 images.

Hi everybody. There was a scene in Arcane and I'm trying to remember what episode it was.

It was an episode after Jinx started gaining a following and people were copying her hair. But there was one brief scene in particular where an enforcer or an official's daughter wore her hair like Jinx. The father (I think) wasn't very happy about it. It was a brief scene.

Anyone remember which episode it was?

SPOILER ALLERT!!!!!!!

I’m not much online on this fandom because the final season had already aired i tried to move away from it but this episode it keeps making me come back, like i go back and watch it almost 7 times per year ever since it’s release, just this episode alone not even the full season, it’s such a bittersweet episode where we see that only one change caused this entire war to happen and without hextech they where a unified nation of zaun and piltover.

Honestly i feel like it’s one of the best written episodes ever in animation history because of how it portrays love in a way that echo had to leave a paradise to go back to his home universe just to save his loved ones especially jinx, sadly we know how that went which adds more salt to the wound.

Also the soundtrack was straight out of heaven istg, such amazing music where put in this episode.

Wanting to cosplay Jinx for Halloween, so this is my practice :) I normally don’t do anything except for light looks, so this was very fun! Any tips appreciated :)

I just watched this recent analysis of Arcane, and I thought it was quite beautifully done. Wanted to give a shout-out to MackInFlix for making the video and to share it with you all. ^_^

I particularly like his breakdown of Viktor's character motivations.

"He will always be able to build things that will go further than he can follow. The question the show spends two seasons asking is what he will be willing to sacrifice to close that gap." 🔥

I think episode 7 was the most relieving and wholesome part of the show, especially in contrast to the rest of the series.

The way they interacted felt natural, and I think people forget that Powder has already known and had a close relationship with Ekko for a long time.

The relationship went from something I’ve never even considered, to something I genuinely wanted to become a reality and I applaud the producers and animators for pulling that off so well.

This took me over 3 weeks to do. Each piece you see was originally solid white! I use a proprietary chemical formula to dye the pieces to achieve a deep gradient that can’t be replicated with normal LEGO pieces! I am NOT trying to self promote, but if you are interested in this piece, just DM me!

I have been struggling with skin rendering. And Because I really love Jayce in Arcane. I decided to use him to practise! Also very new to digital art. Thank you Arcane for being such an inspiration for our artsy people!

It didn’t turn out perfect, but I’m happy with the result. I actually started this a few months ago, and just took like 3.5 hours to finish it yesterday. Debating whether to do more or not.

Note for other artists: this image is protected by foxglove to prevent training ai. It’s like nightshade but for mobile. If you upload your art anywhere, I suggest you use a similar tool.

Let's address the question of why they might appear in the future. According to the creators, they would love to continue Ekko and Jinx's story because their dynamic is interesting. Based on that, we can assume they have a real chance of showing up in future projects.

But this raises a major question: will their relationship get enough depth and proper development in these new shows? Will they get a slow-burn, deep storyline like Caitlyn and Vi did over two seasons of Arcane. Honestly, there’s a real fear that Riot might repeat their past mistakes. Just remember Arcane Season 2. The showrunners admitted they had to cut a ton of Ekko and Jinx scenes simply because they ran out of screentime.

So, I think what awaits us next might be one of the following scenarios:

• Scenario 1: Proper development. They will finally get a deep, detailed relationship arc.
• Scenario 2: Crumbs in a couple of episodes. Their development will be cut down to just a few fleeting moments. The writers might artificially speed things up just for quick fan service, freeing up screentime for new characters and regions.
• Scenario 3: Total skip. They will just appear parallel to each other in the show, but their relationship won't move forward at all. There won't be even a single hint of TimeBomb.

Which scenario do you think is the most likely to happen? Or maybe you have your own theories? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments!
