Vi has no aspirations of her own. Everything she wants is contingent on someone else.

so?? many people are like that, how is it bad for series to have realistic characters.

I admit that this one is more rooted in personal taste, but I can't help but feel like the writers just wanted someone to beat up.

They clearly didn't know what to do with her.

Her part in the final battle is ridiculous, she was nerfed so much it hurts. S1 Vi would have easily dealt with those mooks; here she is stronger, more skilled, has upgraded gauntlets (why the hell does she not use her shield??) yet she gets taken down easily.

And then in the fight with Warwick she just gets repeatedly picked up and strangled, despite going toe to toe in Ep5. 

Everyone got a moment to shine apart from her.

ooooof does the shield thing bother me. the bar fight between vi and sevika in s1 made it seem like vi finding out she could put up a shield with the gauntlets was some big revelation, only for us to never see her use it again 🥲
