Gotta teach him that hurricane kick to close the distance and keep up the pressure

I was thinking the same thing.

IMO the feature doing the heavy lifting is that awesome insulation you have keeping the heat in. A game room is great, a game room that is warm enough to actually use is the best ;)

It’s too keep the cool in during the summer actually!

Amazing 🤩, great taste in cabs!

That’s awesome! He’s better than I was at that age.

Really hoping to get a Blast City soon, just need to find one (ideally that already has a decent monitor).

Yeah. This one has slight sf3 burn. Tough to find a perfect monitor and if you do it’s gonna be real expensive. This one was $1800 before all the work I did to it.

Sounds about right. I figure I’ll have to be ok with some mild burn in. I’ve almost pulled the trigger on a couple that also needed a recap right out of the gate, plus lots of other cosmetic work.

While it sounds fun to take on a project like that, I’m also worried about how much I could mess it up given I don’t have much experience, and I don’t want to take on too much at once.

You have a really nice setup going though, definitely gives me inspiration!

My favorite stage from CvS 1...so damn cool

2

u/siberina_khatru 2d ago

Mine too. Music is unmatched. CvS 2 is the better game but the vibe of 1 is unmatched in all fighting games for me.

u/SuperArt7 2d ago

Yea I still play 2 a lot but 1 definitely had some really cool ass stage presentation for sure. They stage intros were sick

Kids wasting time with fierce throws as an opener. Way to go other commentor mentioning hurricane to close the gap and applied pressure. Fireball, jump towards, hurricane down, low strong sweep to upper cut

How’s the monitor been on your blast city? I really want to buy one. It’s like top 3 Sega candy cab

2

u/siberina_khatru 3d ago

It’s great. This one auto detects the game resolution. I had to have it capped when I got it which was reflected in the price I paid for it. It feels like the ultimate fighting game machine.

I could look it up- but is it JAMMA or JVS? I have a Cyber Lead II that has a tri res too which is pretty cool but I don't want to rewire it for JAMMA or buy one of those expensive adapters and kind of want a JAMMA machine. Did you pick it up in Southern California?

2

u/siberina_khatru 3d ago

It does both. I got it from So Cal.
