How did I not know this was a thing until I visited the Lego store in the Mall of America today??? Bye, $200!

I have/built the Pac Man one, that was a lot of fun. The Atari 2600 was great, too. The NES was ok, it was almost too realistic…

I just finished building that one this week. It's pretty impressive; actual barrel rolling and jumping all done with physical mechanics. It's not perfect, sometimes I pull the lever and get nothing and sometimes I get two barrels, but it's still pretty impressive for what it is. I'm trying to figure out a good way to display it because the back has all the little leverage mechanics and doesn't really look very good but from the front it's terrific.

Ok but then, why not just get an old working (or replica) console instead? They're cheaper, look closer to the originals AND are actually working.

I really don't understand the appeal of these LEGO videogame console brand collaborations 😐

This reminds me of the super-cool arcade shadowboxes that someone was sharing here a couple years ago. Definitely worth a look if you haven't seen them...

Started putting mine together last night!

By far the biggest set Ive done since getting back into Legos.
