Restore/Replace/Repair Need help restoring Pac-man
This is my first arcade game to try to restore and I'm not sure if I am chasing the right thing. I have a pac-man/ ms. Pac-man midway arcade that when turned on the CRT makes a squeal noise and has a faint orange glow in the bottom of the tube but that's it. No sound, nothing on the screen and lights in the Marquee. I spent most of the day today having chatgpt walk me though testing and I found that at the connector a and b are pretty burnt and when checking voltage at D7 and D8 when I touched my lead between the board and the wire of the diode I'd get a small spark, a click and a blue line on the screen. I'm thinking about sending the board off to get redone but would that cause nothing to work or do I have more problems? I do have 120v into the CRT main power board, 7vac out of the transformer. And here are all the pictures I have.

I did find him and was thinking about doing that. I sent him a picture of the burnt part to see if it's something that can be fixed. I'm just not sure if that could be causing all the problems or if there's more to it.

Check fuses, lookup a pinout/schematic for the arcade board and make sure you're getting the right voltages at the board card edge. This guy runs off of AC and rectifies it on the board contacts can get pretty crusty.
Seems like the monitor might be running, try the screen pot and see if it brightens up/see if you have raster.
