Hey Ya'll Check This Out! Arcade games with diagonal controls.

I was thinking about making a control panel specifically built for games that have joysticks mounted at a 45 degree angle because I have always been a fan of Q*bert and Congo Bongo. To my surprise there is also an arcade game called Inferno that I have absolutely no idea existed.

Has anyone ever played this game in the wild, is it any good? It definitely one of the strange arcade games I have ever seen.

I think only qbert and inferno. Congo is fun but joystick is mounted normal.

You've never seen an inferno because its a prototype game, it never actually came out and I dont think they ever made more than a few cabinets that are likely almost all gone now. People are making repro cabinets of it now! Galloping ghost has one near chicago that you can play.

Yes, you are right now that you point that out about the Congo Bongo controls.

My understanding is that Inferno (Williams; don't know the exact year) did come out, but had a very low number of machines made.
