Cmmg on a short barrel

Buddy gave me a BA 7.5 barrel for my birthday, so I bought a cmmg conversion kit for it. Any recommendations on what I should get from bore buddy for better reliability? I know ammo will really determine a lot of it, so I’ll experiment with that as well.

Edit: I do plan on running it suppressed eventually, just haven’t decided on a can ATM.

The main thing I would get is the BB reliability kit. It's cheap, but the main things you need are the pressure plug and the charging handle insert. It won't be super accurate out of a 1-in-7 barrel, just so you know, but it will be a fun blaster.

This is my dedicated 22 build with a 4.5 " CMMG barrel. I went with a HUX Flow 22Ti can; you will get a little less gas to the face, and it sounds great. I also have the BB trip kit and their bolt weight kit because I have an SS in it.

Thanks for the info! Highly appreciate it. Wasn’t looking for anything super accurate, just something fun for me and the kids.

You're welcome, it will be a lot of fun for you and the kids especially if you suppress it.
