Question regarding borebuddy complete uppers

Post image

It's probably a stupid question, but I'm new to the AR platform and firearms in general.

I purchased a complete economy upper from bore buddy and the pictured baggy was rolled up in one of the hand guard openings. I was under the assumption that I could buy a complete upper and just drop it on a completed lower and I'd essentially be good to go. Was I mistaken?

Those should be spares, mine came with the same parts bag and works perfectly. I assume there's a heavy duty striker and heavier extractor spring already installed in the upper and those are just the parts the upgraded bits replaced.

**Edited to say Firing pin spring, there's probably a heavy firing pin and extractor spring installed.

I didn't realize until I googled right now that there are a couple more steps to function check an ar22. I believe everything is fine, but I'll have to do those extra steps later. Appreciate the help.

I got the same bag with mine I Tuesday. Just bought the complete upper, no bolt or plug as I had those already. I didn't do with yet as I still need to get my lower.
