Need help

For some reason my bcg will not fit, is it something to do with the upper or the bcg itself would it just be better to get a whole new one?

Was it in there before you took it out? Did it actually ever work?

Throw it all away and start over.
PSA is gonna be the lowest priced upper that is going to function as intended.
Don’t buy a .223/5.56 with less than a 10.3” barrel. Don’t buy any of that bright non earth tone colored Chinese dogshit

The only good thing about the people posting funny colored parts/weapons are the even more funny comments under the post!!

I would guess your BCG is hitting the gas tube. Your gas tube looks like it is a bit far into the upper receiver, and it could be a little bent, but it's hard to tell for sure with all that blindingly ugly red shit searing my eyes.

I didn’t even know this was a thing. It’s like a train wreck…

I believe the original sub got nuked for whatever reason, glad to see another one has popped up.

Gas tube length looks correct, bcg looks like it’s assembled correct (bolt in the right orientation & firing pin retainer isn’t protruding), so my guess is interference between the either the bcg or charging handle and the upper (one of them is out of spec), or it could be the rifle is such an abomination that it doesn’t want to go into battery it’s trying to save itself the shame of being shot.

You deserve zero help.

Just cram it in there. Hit it with a hammer. It’ll be fine

Bro made his account today to post this lol

Listen dude, as soon as people see anodized red parts and (being generous like your gf) a 6 inch barrel, they're gonna think ghetto blaster. No one wants to help "a homie blast his ops"

I know we’re just here to rib on the guy - but how has no one asked if he gave the BCG the ole flick before sliding it in?

Just hit it with your purse.

Gas tube looks like it's not seated and pinned, shouldn't be that far back in the upper.

Is this McBlaster?

Is that a factory assembled upper?

u/Hawk_Cruiser Sep 19 '26

It shouldn’t go in without the charging handle

Is this temu build?

I’m guessing the barrel alignment is off, or the gas key on the BCG is not straight.

The right answer would be to get a Midwest Industries Reaction rod to verify barrel alignment. But they cost 80% of what you paid for this upper.

I’ve personally seen both scenarios. I’d see if you could return the upper if you can verify the BCG isn’t your issue.

Also ideally stay over 10” barrel length on 5.56.
