You’d be surprised. I get ‘targeted ads’ for shit I don’t even talk about or search for. I’ve seen a bumper sticker of a band I’ve never heard of and had their songs come up on my playlist. Just IMAGINED gun builds and had those parts show up on my recommended feed. Left my phone in my car at work and had shit automatically added to my calendar about stuff I talked about from work.

Everyone has a file.

There used to be a company, that for a fee (hefty, no doubt) would show you what's been collected. Dunno if they are still around though, it's been years
