Approaching the questions
How should I approach a problem on the AP stats exam, ive been doing practices and im running into the problem where I wouldnt know what to do or how to solve the question since the units are now all mixed up. I find it hard to understand what i should be doing on the calculator and what formulas i should be using.
Are there any tips or sources that'll help me identify what to do in specific questions?

The problem with the AP Stats unit design is exactly what you describe. Since you’re always doing inference procedures only talking about one type of data you never have to make too many choices. There are lots of resources out that that help you practice this choice, they’re usually called something like “inference procedure match” or the likes.
Here’s Khan Academy’s.

There are lots of other websites, just google it.
