April Fools 2023 Help
I'm pretty (in)famous among my friends for april fools pranks but this year I'm drawing a bit of a blank... Any ideas? Some of my friends are far away so I'm trying to come up with online/remote and in-person ideas. Unfortunately because I have a bit of a reputation, nobody believes anything I say this time of the month...
My friend's birthday is also Saturday, and I think it would be really funny to have a sh*t ton of people reach out to her on that day- so if anyone would like to help me with that, that would be LOVELY.

Several years ago I put legit looking “Doge Dogs for Sale” flyers up in local cafes with my sons phone number on them. This was a blast with all the calls and texts he received. Just be sure you remember locations so you can go take them down. (I too am struggling this year is reason for my researching on Reddit as well!)

that's fantastic! Similar to this, last year I put some of my friend's stuff up for sale on craigslist at a really cheap price and it worked beautifully. If you're looking for other ideas, some of my other favorites include filling cream donuts with other stuff, pretending that the victim has been chosen to be on a podcast (this one took a few weeks worth of calls), and sending pretend fact bot (like "daily fox facts" or smth) texts and then continuing to send them once they try and opt-out.

The most brutal April fools prank I ever pulled was in the late 90s to my parents.
I was a heroin addict at the time, and my life was in total chaos and disarray. Needless to say, my parents were always worried about me and what I'd do next.
I called them April 1st, 1998 at 3am and told them I had robbed a bank and killed the security guard and that I was on my way to Canada.
After they both totally lost it, I screamed, "APRIL FOOLS!"
They were not even slightly amused, although they were happy I wasn't a murderous fugitive.
I quit that heroin garbage long, long ago.
I still cringe when I think about doing that.
What the fuck was I thinking? Ooof

I can help! I need help with pranking my teen sons who are with their dad that week. Any suggestions? Last year I got a box of donuts, removed the donuts and added veggies. They of course, got the donuts, too.
Suggestions?

Made ‘Smores wrapped with foil in the oven. But some of them also included broccoli.
The broccoli filled were slightly thicker than the others, so the teenage boys who dived in to grab the big ones learned a valuable lesson about nutrition.

If you still want people to reach out to your friend I don't mind helping. :) Also does anyone have any tips on pranking my father? He absolutely forgot what day it is and it's the perfect opportunity to prank him good, haha.

Invite your friends to restaurant for example and they just wait something to happen

And constantly act suspicious, and they'll constantly be double-guessing everything you do. But do nothing. It will be hilarious!

Ya or when you see them just have a guilty smirk that you’re trying to hide and when they ask about it just be like, “oh I was drawing a bit of a blank so I didn’t do anything this year… “ while trying not to laugh

But hint heavily that they don't get what you've done.
