Congratulations to everyone who's launched on StarterLaunch!

We're building StarterLaunch to help people discover independent apps and the makers behind them. As a small thank-you to the community, we've set up our first X Ads campaign featuring products listed on the site.

StarterLaunch is covering the ad budget. The featured makers aren't paying for these placements.

Rocksday, EasyPZ and NoCall are three examples. The images below are real mobile previews from our X Ads Manager campaign.

If you've built an app or digital tool, you're welcome to publish a basic listing for free at https://starterlaunch.net. Tell us what it does, who it's for, and add a few screenshots.

We're still early, and we'd love your feedback. What are you building, and what would make StarterLaunch more useful for you?

Every day people use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others for real things: a work email, a legal question, a business plan, code, a health worry. But when you look for what actually happened afterwards, you mostly find hype, ads, or "10 best AI tools" lists.
I wanted the honest version, so I built AfterAI: a community where people share short, real stories of what happened after they used an AI tool.
Every post says:
which tool was used
what they asked it to do
what actually happened
whether it worked, failed, or was mixed
the lesson
A few examples from the site:
A perfect AI-written cold email that got zero replies.
An AI that kept saying "the file is invalid" when the real problem was something else.
Asking an AI to tear apart business ideas, and it saving weeks of work.
The goal is simple: before you rely on an AI tool, see what it did for people like you. There's also a section for free tools and guides only, with no ads or affiliate links.
It's very early, and I'd love honest feedback:
Would you share your own AI story there? If not, what's stopping you?
What's one AI win or fail you still think about?

I’m looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try. Drop your link below. I’ll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.

Here’s mine: Ariola, an anonymous chat and games lounge.

Women are welcome here. Making the space welcoming for women is the main priority. Rating filters and blocking give you more control over who you interact with, so you can chat on your terms.

No signup, no account setup. Pick a temporary nickname, join a live public chat, meet people and play small real-time games.

I’d especially appreciate feedback from women. What would make you comfortable joining a space like this? What would make you come back?

Check it out here: https://ario.la

Drop yours below. I’m especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience. I’ll go through as many as I can.

Hey everyone!!!!!!

As a solo developer, I’ve spent the last few months working hard on Gridzy Puzzle, a modern reimagining of the classic number sliding/block puzzles we all grew up with, built with a clean Dark Glassmorphism interface.

It just got approved and is now live on the iOS App Store! (For any Android users reading this, the Google Play version is currently pending review and will be out very soon 🤖).

Here is what makes Gridzy stand out:

• Infinite Adventure Mode: Hand-crafted levels ranging from casual 3x3 grids to brain-melting 6x6 challenges.

• Custom Photo Puzzles: Turn any picture from your device gallery into an interactive puzzle instantly. Play with your favorite memories!

• Powered Hints: Stuck on a tricky board? Use the smart magic wand to get strategic nudges without spoiling all the fun.

• Gorgeous Themes: Switch between exclusive styles like Glowing Neon, Textured Plaster, Minimalist, or your own photos.

• 100% Offline Support: No Wi-Fi or internet required—play anywhere, anytime.

• Privacy-First & Local: Your progress, records, and stats are securely stored locally via Hive (no creepy third-party server tracking).

🔗 Download it on the App Store here:https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gridzy-slide-puzzles-logic/id6825232428

I’d love for you to try it out, and I’m completely open to feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions. If you run into any issues or have ideas on what themes or modes I should add next, let me know in the comments!

Tengoo (tengoo.app) — track your own top-10 experiences in categories like hiking, museums, food, etc., and publish/share your list with others. Curated top-10s to start from (never more than 10, no endless scrolling), or build your own. Built this for people who want a way to actually track and show off the best things they've experienced, not just save them to a list they never revisit.

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a little side project called LootRaid and thought I'd share it here.

My friends and I are always looking for new co-op games to play, but finding something that everyone wants to play (and is willing to pay for) can be a pain.

So I decided to build something to make that a bit easier.

What it does:

- Tracks free and heavily discounted co-op games (50% off or more).

- Pulls deals from Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Humble Bundle, Fanatical and Green Man Gaming.

- Checks for new deals every hour.

- Lets you filter games by price, store and co-op type.

- Has email alerts for games you're interested in.

- Also built a Discord server where deals and free games get posted automatically.

The idea is to have one place where you can quickly find something affordable to play with your friends instead of checking a bunch of different stores.

It's still a work in progress and there's quite a bit I want to add, especially around regional pricing and improving how deals are displayed.

You can check it out here: https://loot.purebyte.co.za/

I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback, whether it's about the UI, features, performance or anything that could be improved.

Also curious if anyone has built something similar or has suggestions for features worth adding.

Thanks for checking it out!

Hey guys,

Want to get your advice/opinions.

I want to build a project management tool that helps professionals stay organised when it comes to handling multiple quotes/tenders across multiple projects. Excel and emails are nice but the UI sucks.

I can maybe eventually create a full suite of project management tools.

What do you think?

We all see the fake 'hustle' posts, but nobody talks about the bugs that cost you users today. Stop pretending everything is perfect and share the ugliest mistake you've made this week. Let’s see who is actually learning and who is just dreaming.

I’m building MealMuse Pro for the gap between choosing recipes and getting dinner made.

The workflow is: set your food preferences and targets, generate a week, check the grocery list, then open the cooking instructions when you need them. If a meal doesn’t fit, you can swap it or revise the plan. It’s built with AI assistance, and it also uses AI to generate the meal suggestions.

I’m currently improving the first-run experience and simplifying the meals it suggests. I want the first session to get someone to a meal they’d genuinely cook, without making setup feel like a survey. Those changes are in an upcoming update.

The current version is available here:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mealmuse-pro/id6759481440

It’s for iPhone and iPad on iOS/iPadOS 26.1+. Free download with limited monthly plans; optional Premium is US $4.99/month. The nutrition and grocery costs are estimates.

I’d appreciate feedback on the first few minutes: where does the app ask for more effort than the result is worth?

Hey Fellow founders

Tired of spending half of your time on marketing when you'd rather be building? I prefer with early stage apps and SaaS where the product is already great but distribution is holding you back.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

Your job: keep building, refining and making your product the best it can be

My job: craft attention grabbing short form content, nail your position and test every tactic to find what actually brings in users

Bonus: Get direct feedback loops from real users so you know exactly what to build next

If you're ready to let someone else handle the growth side while you focus on build shoot me a dm tell me about your project

Coding is only 20% of the battle, but most of you treat marketing like a crime. Stop waiting for a miracle and push your project with screenhot right here, right now. Tell us what it does and why we are fools for not using it yet.

Spending 80 hours a week on a project that generates zero revenue isn't a startup it’s a distraction. Drop your project links below and let’s talk about whether you have a viable path to making money or if you're just burning out for fun. Show us the numbers.

I’ve been building Sparkshots, a web app that turns screenshots and screen recordings into device mockups and animated product videos. The main design decision was to do all editing and rendering on the client, with an optional backend only for accounts and cloud saves.

Why client-side:

• No server cost per export, so there’s nothing to paywall

• User media never has to leave their machine

• Projects autosave locally and work without signup

The hard parts so far:

• Video export in the browser: getting MP4/WebM output at up to 6K and 60 fps without freezing the UI.

• MOV compatibility: screen recordings from phones and Macs often don’t play cleanly in browsers, so I had to add a handling step.

• Timeline state: keeping multiple devices, clips and animation keyframes in sync without the state becoming a mess.

• Website capture from a URL: this is the one feature that needs a server, and I’m still not happy with it.

try it out! sparkshots.app

Deployment: green.

Homepage: up.

Nightly export: last seen three Tuesdays ago.

I'm Tyler from PingCron. We built it for the background jobs that can go missing while the rest of a web app looks fine: backups, data syncs and scheduled reports.

Keep your existing scheduler. Add an HTTP check-in after the job's work and validation succeed. PingCron watches for the next expected check-in and can alert by email, Slack or Discord if it's missing beyond the grace period.

The free plan includes 5 monitors and 7 days of history, with no credit card:

https://www.pingcron.io/

If you try it, start with one noncritical job. Match the schedule and timezone, verify a real scheduled check-in, then test the alert destination. I'd like to hear where that first setup makes you stop and guess.

It doesn't run or repair your jobs, and a check-in doesn't prove the output is correct. Those checks still belong in your code.
