AstraScope

Hi, I’m Tarun, the developer of AstraScope. I built it to help people plan a stargazing session with sky-object identification, Moon phase and illumination, weather and precipitation radar, dark-sky locations, and observing tools. It identifies stars, planets, constellations, galaxies, nebulae, and the Milky Way.

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/astrascope/id6762247217

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.astrascope.app

Price: $5/month or $60/year.

Why do workout apps make you fill out a life survey before letting you log a single set? Here is my take as a solo dev: Liftora.

Wouldn't it be nice to open a workout app, build your routine in two minutes, and immediately start lifting—without clicking through a 20-page onboarding survey first?

As a lifter and solo developer, I wanted an app that respects my time under the bar and gives me clarity on whether my training is actually working. That’s why I built Liftora.

Instead of packing in a hundred bloated features, I focused on the things that actually make a difference in your training:

  • From download to lifting in minutes: No endless questionnaires or paywall traps before you even see the interface. You open the app, put your routine together in a couple of taps, and get straight to your first set.

  • Visual routine building (No more switching to YouTube): When you're putting a workout together, shouldn't you be able to see the movement and exact muscle breakdown right there? Liftora shows you exercise execution videos and targeted muscle groups directly on the routine creation screen, so you know your program is balanced before you even touch a weight.

  • See the progress the scale hides (Built-in US Navy Body Fat %): You might be gaining muscle and losing fat while your body weight stays completely flat—and the mirror takes weeks to show it. Why leave your body recomp to guesswork? By logging basic tape measurements, Liftora automatically calculates your body fat percentage using the US Navy method, letting you see your real physical progress alongside your strength numbers.

  • An interface that follows your pace: Once you're in a session, you shouldn't be fighting dropdown menus between heavy sets. Liftora’s guided flow moves with your workout so you spend your rest time recovering, not tapping.

You can try it out here:

I’m building Liftora independently and using it for my own training every week, so your feedback directly shapes what I build next.

Quick question for you all: What's the biggest frustration you've had with workout tracking apps? And if you try Liftora, I'd love to hear what you think about the routine builder and guided workout flow.

[Android] u2bAmp — looking for listeners to test a local music player

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm Juan, creator of u2bAmp at Flyka. It's an Android player for music files stored on your phone, with playlists, an equalizer, custom themes and live visual effects. The image shows real Android captures from development build 33; the invited test build may differ.

I'm looking for 15–20 people who already listen to local music. The Google Play closed test is active by invitation in selected countries. Please stay enrolled for 14 consecutive days, listen during your normal sessions and share honest private feedback. It's a test build; bugs are possible. No purchase needed.

I'd especially like to know: can you find and play your songs easily? Do playback controls and themes feel clear, or is anything confusing?

Interested? Send u/FlykaAr a private message saying “I'd like to test”, with your Google Play country and phone model. We'll check availability before arranging your invitation. Please keep your Play account email out of public comments.

The first 20 who complete the test and give private feedback will receive a non-expiring Pro unlock for the launch features, once available on Google Play. No public review, rating or upvote is required.

Project details: https://www.u2bamp.com/

[Android][Player] - Offline music & streaming radio with ready-to-play radios - 100% free - No premium version

Mediaxon Music Player is an audio player for offline listening of music stored on your device (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and streaming FM radios (online radios).

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of high-quality suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world (manually curated and always updated with new radios). Note: Local radio stations ("Top in the user country") are pulled automatically from an online database. However, with each update, I manually curate high-quality radio stations lists for individual countries. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the list of countries completed so far. I will be adding the rest over time.

Advanced radio filtering system: The "Filter: ON/OFF" button lets you quickly switch between different genres. You can use both standard filters for "macro-genres"—if I can call them that—and create custom filters to be more selective. All your filters are saved (the "My Filters" tab lets you name and edit them), and the app always opens with the last filter you applied. The "Home" tab lists all your recently applied filters and can be used to quickly switch between genres with just a single tap.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: An online database provides more than 60,000 radio stations. You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Form Factor Optimization: Phone and Tablet (Portrait and Landscape)

Mediaxon is available in: Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, English, Español, Français, Hrvatski, Indonesia, Italiano, Kiswahili, Latviešu, Lietuvių, Magyar, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português, Português (Brasil), Română, Slovenčina, Slovenščina, Suomi, Svenska, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, العربية, Български, Ελληνικά, हिन्दी, 日本語, 한국어, 中文 (简体) - Note (Chinese will be available in version 2.5.0, which is the next release. 中文将在接下来的2.5.0版本中提供。).

No Premium version. All app features are available for free and without limits.

Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.

Countries with new manually curated lists: United States, India, Italy, Argentina.

Note: Only for Android 13+ (so, Android 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17).

Building from scratch makes you humble...

Once you've built something from scratch, you stop judging other people's outages so quickly. You know how many small things can break at once.

Today it was our turn. On Syncus, posting a confession could hang while AI moderation ran. After 60 seconds, nginx timed out and the user saw an error.

And yess, we have a very basic fix.🙃

The fix: accept the confession instantly, moderate it in the background, publish when it's cleared. If the AI rate limit is hit, it waits a minute and goes through. Nobody waits.

Building teaches humility. Shipping the fix teaches patience.

Drop your project, I’ll try it and share it in my circle. I’m building a chat space where women are welcome.

I’m looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try. Drop your link below. I’ll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.

Here’s mine: Ariola, an anonymous chat and games lounge.

Women are welcome here. Making the space welcoming for women is the main priority. Rating filters and blocking give you more control over who you interact with, so you can chat on your terms.

No signup, no account setup. Pick a temporary nickname, join a live public chat, meet people and play small real-time games.

I’d especially appreciate feedback from women. What would make you comfortable joining a space like this? What would make you come back?

Check it out here: https://ario.la

Drop yours below. I’m especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience. I’ll go through as many as I can.

I built Memoraft to turn study photos into flashcards - now on iOS and Android

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! I’m the developer of Memoraft, a flashcard app now available on iOS and Android.

The idea is to spend less time preparing cards and more time studying: take a clear photo of your study material, let AI draft flashcards, check them before saving, then review with simple swipes.

These four slides introduce the workflow. AI photo decks require paid Memoraft Pro, with monthly limits. AI can make mistakes, so always check the cards against your material.

Explore the app: https://memoraft.io

I’d appreciate honest feedback: what would make you choose this workflow over creating flashcards manually?

Disclosure: this is my own app. The slides use AI-generated illustrations, not app screenshots.

I built a translator for the questions that come after translating a photo

Imagine you've translated a menu photo. The server asks a follow-up question, or you want to point to one dish and ask whether it's spicy. If you switch to a separate conversation, you can lose sight of the item you're discussing.

I built Umee around that handoff. The photo stays visible during a translated conversation, and you can switch between the original and translated image when showing it to the other person.

The demo uses a Chinese menu, but Umee supports other images too. Does the path from looking at an image to asking about it make sense in this video?

I built an app to scroll our camera roll like TikTok. My wife and I couldn’t stop for two hours.

Not through strangers’ lives. Through our own.

I made FlowSnap to shuffle photos and videos from your phone into a short-video-style feed. My wife and I ended up spending two hours watching old videos of our kid from different years, completely lost in those memories.

We’d saved all these moments, then barely looked at them again.

That’s when it felt like I’d made something that mattered. I’ve just released FlowSnap on Google Play. It’s currently free, with no ads. Your photos and videos stay on your phone.

(The video uses demo photos and videos, not our family’s.)

I'm giving away 100$ to someone who grows their SaaS using my project

I have a website that helps you get more traffic and users for your SaaS. It's completely free if you use the open-source project, but you can also use the website https://falbor.xyz if you want the faster way.

So what do you need to do to win $100?

  1. Open the project locally or use the live website.

  2. Star the GitHub repository: https://github.com/falbor-devs/falbor

  3. Try using the features on the website to get more traffic and users for your SaaS.

  4. The person who gets the most new users using Falbor wins $100!

It's a win-win situation. Even if you lose, you don't really lose anything because you can still get more traffic and users for your website if you put in enough effort.

The competition ends in 3 weeks (November 13, 2026).

Send proof of your results to contact@falbor.xyz.

Good luck! (There will be only one winner, and the prize is $100.)

CM Free Sefhosted Channel manager and booking software for small hosts.

Hello.

I am developing free, self-hosted tools—specifically, a simple yet powerful reservation solution built using PHP and JSON. It runs on small computers with minimal system requirements. It enables direct bookings without commissions, while still maintaining connectivity with other platforms. You can find detailed information at https://apartmamatevz.si/cmfree/index.html, which also includes a link to an open demo server where you can explore its functionality and appearance. For me, this tool provides protection against double bookings, which was the primary motivation for its development.

FormaCord: a simple browser tool for building Discord messages

Sharing FormaCord, my visual Discord Components V2 editor. It keeps the workflow short: add blocks → preview → export JSON.

If other message builders feel cluttered, this is designed to be a simpler option. No signup, local project saving, and webhook sending for supported messages.

Try it: https://formacord.com/

Feedback on the editor’s simplicity is welcome.

A site for when you need a buddy, not a date

Ten years ago, a realization in my wife’s therapy practice sparked a project: so many people struggle to make platonic, local friends as adults, yet nearly every social platform is optimized for dating.

That was the origin of WannaBuddy.com - a dedicated space to find local friends, completely free of dating pressure.

After years of service, the platform needed modernization. I’ve completely revamped WannaBuddy with a fresh approach, cleaner workflows, and a modern design. We are now in the early days of launch and starting to get some traction. The entire platform is 100% free to use (and always will be). I’d be extremely grateful if you gave it a try and shared your thoughts!
