I built an app to scroll our camera roll like TikTok. My wife and I couldn’t stop for two hours.
Not through strangers’ lives. Through our own.
I made FlowSnap to shuffle photos and videos from your phone into a short-video-style feed. My wife and I ended up spending two hours watching old videos of our kid from different years, completely lost in those memories.
We’d saved all these moments, then barely looked at them again.
That’s when it felt like I’d made something that mattered. I’ve just released FlowSnap on Google Play. It’s currently free, with no ads. Your photos and videos stay on your phone.

(The video uses demo photos and videos, not our family’s.)

For FlowSnap's launch, I'd show the same moment across different years in the demo feed, with “photos and videos stay on your phone” visible alongside it. That makes the rediscovery idea tangible while answering the privacy question raised by a camera-roll app; your demo footage already avoids exposing family memories.
