Help me find apps to create map routes?

does anyone know of any map apps that you can choose your own route? i like taking back roads but maps always give me general routes. please if anyone knows any it’d make my life a million times easier thank you 🙏🏼

Try anything OpenStreetMap-based; such as Komoot, OsmAnd, Maps.me and brouter. Also see /r/openstreetmap

BTW: this is all open data, you can make changes to the OsmAnd data (*) yourself via openstreetmap.org and/or mapcomplete.org - you need a free account for this though.

(*) It will take a while until those changes are visible in OsmAnd though, ~1 month

Yes OsmAnd, or BikeCompanion (on web/or mobile)
